Cody Jones

About him[]

Cody Jones is a detective that solves every mystery, even when people need his help. He has his own private agency: Cody Jones, Agency for Mysteries.

He's a tall, slim man and he's quite intelligent. He has red hair, grey/blue glasses, a light blue shirt and a green jacket, blue pants and grey shoes. He is also lazy when it comes to paying his agency, but very happy when a new customer visits.

In the games[]

Miley Cyrus Rescue[]

He had to rescue Miley Cyrus from the clutches of the evil wizard Black Hat.

Katy Perry Rescue[]

He was complaining about not having investigations or money, and that he would be broke quickly. When a knock came at the door, he thought that it was a customer, but it was the landlord who was still badgering him about the rent. As she left, there was another knock on the door and he thought that it was still the landlord, until he heard a different voice, so he invited him in. The tour guide then told him about what happened to Katy Perry. After debating through it and talking about the price, he joins the guide.

He solves puzzles by checking the book, Egyptian Cultures. When Cody picked up the papyrus where there were hieroglyphics, he mentioned he'd taken advanced lessons about them and was able to translate it. The hieroglyphics then turn into normal words, letting him know where he should place the gems. He could also revive the statue warriors and move them to the right places.

When Katy thanked him, he brushed it off, saying there were just a few traps, mummies and harmless monsters. He would then turn around when the camel licked him, and admitted that it was a nice reward, after all.

Cody Jones and the Island of Death[]

He had to save his uncle, Indiana Jones, from the clutches of Mola Ram, a magical wizard. Cody had to perform a Sun dance with a mask on his face and holding a scepter, so that he could make the sun bigger and brighter. He had to beat the two guards with a makeshift zipline in order to enter the lair. He saved his uncle and both of them defeated the wizard.

Cody Crazy Halloween[]

He had to bring back a ball for the children that was taken by the haunted house.

Cody Halloween Rescue[]

Cody had to save a child that didn't came back from the House of Horror.

Cody Jones and the Chocolate Factory[]

He had to help the Easter Bunny find his stolen eggs in a chocolate factory, referencing Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.

Cody Crazy Zoo[]

He had to help the Zookeeper in an investigation, where the crook, Penguin, is hypnotizing the zoo animals.

Cody Saw Game[]

At the beginning, Cody was talking to himself about his last missions, his rent, and the landlord, who was planning to kick him out. Then, whom he thinks is a girl scout answers the door and gives him a cookie. He was shocked when the girl scout (Pigface in disguise) revealed that she put somniferous in the cookies at the last minute, and he quickly fell asleep. Like every other victim, Cody also woke up in an unknown building. Then he saw the TV coming down with a face of the puppet in it and asked him questions. He wanted to talk with the Inkagames team, because no one told him about this adventure. Pigsaw told him they are not available at the moment and it's just him. At the end of the game, Pigsaw congratulates him for his bravery and cunningness, and that he is free now. Cody was pleasured not to see him again, however, Pigsaw said he can't promise that.

He and Obama check out the island where Captain Nemo is and escape the island after their helicopter crashes.

Trivia[]

  • It's assumed he usually had a mug of hot coffee in his games. But in the saw game, it's revealed to be tea.
  • In Cody Jones and the Island of Death, he meets Amanda Diaz, a winner of Inkagames.
  • He was set to be redesigned for his game with Obama.
  • In the Mazniac version, he had different colors, although he isn't copyrighted, since he is a character created by the Inkagames/Mazniac Team. Then again, everything in the version (including Obama's clothes) was recolored.
