Mazniac & Dark Dome English Wiki

Mia Alba is the antagonist of the first Dark Dome game The Girl in the Window, which she got the nickname from the villagers who witnessed her from the window of an abandoned house in Hidden Town. She is the sister of Dan Alba, who is the game's protagonist.

About her[]

Mia is a young woman who always has an unhappy expression on her face due to being unable to rest in peace as long as her murderer is yet to be punished. She seems to be attached to her brother, calling him into their abandoned house and not wanting him to leave, probably to make him remember everything. She also has a nostalgic side, as she wants her teddy bear back after she dies.

According to Lian, Mia and Dan used to be very friendly and sociable. However, after visiting the cemetery with their friends, they felt paranoid due to constantly spotting a man near their house and unusual occurrences, such as shadows. Hence, they felt safe within their home, rarely going out and always being on guard.

In the games[]

The Girl in the Window[]

Mia is calling Dan into a house abandoned 20 years ago, then locking him inside. She sometimes makes minor, even jumpscares, appearances while Dan is searching for clues to escape. When her brother unlocks the door, she writes "YOU SHOULDN'T GO" on the wall, determined to make him stay. After Dan is finally outside and finds out about the murder case about them, Mia drags him back to the house. The two stay together in their home afterward.

The Ghost Case[]

Mia makes a minor appearance as her soul, along with her brother's, is sending signals to the detective Ren Larson to solve their longtime closed murder case because they cannot rest in peace without having their killer punished.

She appears for a while in her house inside a mirror, telling non-verbally to Ren to give her something. When the detective gives the teddy bear to her, she fades from the mirror, leaving numbers on the wall (731806) inside the mirror for him.

When the detective finally solves the case of the siblings and has the killer pay for his crimes, Mia and Dan are happily looking from the window of their home, as they can now rest in peace.
