About him[]
Nedward "Ned" Flanders is the Simpson family's extremely religious next "diddly-door" neighbor. He is a genuinely well-meaning, good-natured person and is one of the few in Springfield to whom that description applies. Though firmly religious, he can be timid and something of an easy pushover. He thoroughly worships God and strictly follows the Bible as literally as possible and is easily shocked when challenged on any point of dogma. He also owns the Leftorium and a home business, Flancrest Enterprises, which makes religious hook rugs. He also works as a member of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department. He has brown hair and a mustache, glasses, a green jumper, pink shirt, grey pants and black shoes.
In the games[]
In Homer/Bobby's game, when Homer/Bobby came to his neighbor's yard, he had two seconds to throw a balloon with holy water inside it at Devil Flanders/Sanders, so that he would turn back to himself.
Homer/Bobby then asks Ned if he could lend him some money, as he was still waiting for the previous money to come back. After some settlement, Ned asked what the date was for Homer/Bobby to give the money back and then gave him a wad of bills.
In Marge's game, he appears as the devil again. He is defeated when Marge puts out his fires with holy water from an extinguisher.

- In Homer and Marge's games, he was seen in both disguises as in the series.
- If Homer/Bobby wouldn't do anything in those two seconds, Flanders/Sanders the Devil would come out from his hideout and create a hole for Homer/Bobby so that he would fall inside Hell.
- When asked, Homer/Bobby said that the date he will return the money will be the 30th of April.
